1. Purpose
Stack8s Ltd is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, honesty, and ethical behaviour in everything we do. This Code of Conduct applies to all employees, contractors, directors, and anyone acting on behalf of Stack8s Ltd.
2. Integrity & Honesty
All staff must act with honesty and integrity at all times, both internally and when dealing with customers, partners, and the public. This includes:
- Being truthful in all communications
- Not misrepresenting Stack8s's products, services, or capabilities
- Reporting concerns or wrongdoing promptly and without fear of retaliation
3. Conflicts of Interest
Staff must avoid situations where personal interests conflict with the interests of Stack8s Ltd. Any potential conflict of interest must be disclosed to your line manager or the CEO immediately.
4. Confidentiality
All staff must protect confidential information belonging to Stack8s Ltd and its customers. This includes:
- Customer data, contracts, and business information
- Proprietary software, systems, and intellectual property
- Internal financial and strategic information
Confidentiality obligations continue after employment ends.
5. Data Protection & Privacy
All staff must comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Customer and employee data must be handled responsibly, stored securely, and never shared without authorisation.
6. Acceptable Use of Technology
Stack8s systems, tools, and data must only be used for legitimate business purposes. Staff must not:
- Access systems or data without authorisation
- Share login credentials with others
- Install unauthorised software on company devices
- Use company systems for personal gain
7. Respect & Inclusion
Stack8s is committed to a workplace free from harassment, discrimination, and bullying. All staff are expected to treat colleagues, customers, and partners with respect regardless of background, role, or seniority.
8. Compliance with Laws & Regulations
All staff must comply with applicable laws and regulations including but not limited to:
- UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018
- Computer Misuse Act 1990
- Equality Act 2010
- Modern Slavery Act 2015
9. Reporting Violations
Any suspected violations of this Code of Conduct should be reported to your line manager or directly to the CEO at jeremy@stack8s.com. Reports will be treated confidentially and investigated promptly.
Stack8s Ltd does not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a genuine concern in good faith.
10. Consequences of Violations
Breaches of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment or contract, and may be reported to relevant authorities where required by law.
